SELF ENERGY PRESENT AT THE FIRST MEETING OF THE EUROPEAN PROJECT SMART METERING IN SEPTEMBER

The European project Smart Metering took a major step forward at the recent meeting held at the facilities of Labein-Tecnália, in the Biskaia Technology park, near Bilbao (Spain) on 14th and 15th September.
In Portugal, the first pilot installation of this technology will be launched at the Olympic-sized swimming pool of the Santa Maria de Lamas College in the north of Portugal.
This European project is called “SportE2 - Intelligent Management System to integrate and control energy generation, consumption and exchange for European Sport and Recreation Buildings” and features as an innovative project in the field of SMART METERING (telemetry) in sports facilities.
The project SportE2 comprises 4 European countries: Portugal, Spain, Italy and Greece and is funded by the European Commission via the FP7 programme.
SELF ENERGY and ISA represent Portugal in the consortium.
